Elementary AAA/GATE students will:

• Be cluster grouped with other AAA/GATE identified students in the regular classroom setting
• Work toward meeting or exceeding the California grade level standards in all curriculum areas

Middle School AAA/GATE students will:

• Be placed in accelerated classes for language arts and social science
• Be placed in accelerated mathematics and science classes based on district math and science placement criteria
• Work toward meeting or exceeding the California grade level standards in all curriculum areas

High School AAA/GATE students will:

• Be appropriately placed in Academies and Accelerated, Advanced Placement (AP), and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) classes
• Work toward meeting or exceeding the California grade level standards in all content areas

AAA/GATE teachers at all grade levels will:

• Utilize a variety of student assessment and data to carefully plan and monitor instruction
• Implement a variety of instructional models to provide appropriate differentiation to meet the needs of gifted learners
