SUPPLY LISTS - 2008/2009

KINDERGARTEN - Large Backpack, pointed fiskar scissors for kids, 4 boxes of 16-Crayola Crayons, 12 small glue sticks (unmarked), 2 pkg. of 8-Crayola Classic markers (broad), 1 pkg. of school or seasonal-related stickers, 1 pocket folder (no Trapper Keepers or binders), 1 box of Baby Wipes, 1 dozen yellow #2 pencils, 1 black Sharpie permanent marker. GIRLS ONLY should also bring 1 box of sandwich size ziplock bags and 1 roll of paper towels. BOYS ONLY should also bring 1 box of gallon size ziploc bags and 1 box of facial tissues (200 count). OPTIONAL ITEMS are 8-1/2x11 colored card stock paper, bottle of hand sanitizer, bottle of Soft Soap, or smelly single-colored stamp pad.

GRADE 1 - Small plastic pencil box, crayons (24 count or smaller), 1 pocket folder, small size fiskar scissors, Crayola markers (box of 8 primary colors), 2 sharpened pencils, 1 box facial tissues (200+ count), 2dozen yellow pencils (#2), 12 glue sticks, 1 tub of Wet Ones, 1 box of Baby Wipes, 1-inch three-ring binder , 1 ream astro-bright copy paper, 1 Dry Erase marker, 1pkg. of 3x3 Post-It Notes.

GRADE 2 - Crayons (24 or smaller), white art erasers, 2 large glue sticks, pocket folder (no Trapper Keepers), backpack, lunch bag that fits inside backpack, Fiskar scissors, pencil box (small enough to fit in desk), thin markers (12 colors), standard size colored pencils (12 colors), 1 ream solid color copy paper, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1 dozen #2 pencils (wooden), 1 roll 35mm film, 1 box of Baby Wipes/WetOnes/antibacterial wipes.

GRADE 3 - One dozen wooden pencils (#2), crayons (24 or smaller), 3 large glue sticks, Fiskar scissors, small pencil box, colored pencils (standard size), wide & narrow markers, pink pearl erasers, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1 ream of colored copier paper, 1 container of baby wipes, dictionary (keep at home), 1-3x5 index card file box, 6 pkg. 3x3 Post-It Notes, 1 pocket folder (no Trapper Keeper or 3-ring binders).

GRADE 4 - 4 dozen #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils), Fiskars brand pointed scissors, crayons (24 or smaller), 2 highlighters, 4 large glue sticks, 24 colored pencils, 5 subject dividers, 600 sheets wide-ruled notebook paper, 2 black fine-line markers, 12 red pens/pencils, 1 bottle Elmers white glue, 2-inch 3-ring binder (no zippers or velcro!), 1-inch 3-ring binder, 2 boxes of Kleenex (optional), 1 box Baby Wipes, 4 pkg. of 4x6 white lined index cards, 1 ream pastel or bright color copier paper, 1 bottle hand sanitizer.

GRADE 5 - #2 pencils (4 doz.), pointed scissors, crayons (24 or smaller), markers (thick & thin), colored pencils, 2-3 glue sticks, 1 desk size bottle of white glue, 2-3 black felt tip pens, zippered pouch for binder, standard 1-1/2 in. 3-ring binder, ruler, subject dividers, clipboard, 5 spiral notebooks, 2 regular size boxes of Kleenex, bookbag or backpack, calculator, 1 pkg. of 3x5 index cards, 1 box Baby Wipes, lined notebook paper, 1/4-in. graph paper, highlighter, 1 ream of colored copy paper, 3x3 Post-It Notes.

GRADE 6-8 - Binder, 3-prong pocket folder for PE (must hold notebook paper), 1 spiral single subject notebook for Math (approx. 70 pages), pencil pouch for binder or backpack (no pencil boxes), red erasable pens (2), black erasable pens (2), pencils (regular or mechanical #2 lead), college-ruled notebook paper (100 sheets is fine), pencil sharpener with shaving catcher, colored pencils, markers, highlighter. A basic scientific calculator for Algebra and Geometry students is highly recommended. This calculator will continue to be used in high school. Optional Items: Scissors, ruler, glue sticks (2), white-out pen or stick only (no liquid bottles that can spill or leak), dictionary (college level with word origins). Classroom donations of tissues, antibacterial spray and paper towels are always appreciated.
