STEPS
TO SUCCESS: PARENTING THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-AGED CHILD
WHAT: Most of us are pretty good
parents with pretty good kids, doing the best we can. But don’t
you often wish you could be more purposeful, more consistent or more
encouraging in your parenting? This popular class, taught by an experienced
credentialed teacher/parent, will give you a new or renewed perspective on
raising confident, responsible and loving children! Meet the
challenges of parenting by reviewing how children grow and behave, learning
effective and positive ways to deal with misbehavior and anger; becoming
adept at encouraging your child, and discovering ways to listen and talk
together openly. Make the choice to become a more skilled and
confident parent.

Math Enrichment: computer based math enrichment develops spatial temporal
reasoning, preparing students of all ability levels for higher math. Based
on brain research proving math is best learned visually, ST Math uses an engaging
