Drugs are unbearable
Thank you so much to everyone who brought in animals for students who lost them in the fire. We collected over 300 animals. Thank you to Mrs. Moody and the PTA for organizing our Red Ribbon activities.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION REGARDING THE DAYS OFF LAST WEEK DUE TO FIRES
Moms and dads, students, and teachers, have been asking, “Will we have to go to school two extra days this year to make up for the two days lost due to the fires?” The answer is: Because Orange County was declared a disaster area; no make up days will be required. The school year will not be extended.
VETERANS RECOGNITION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOV. 13
It’s one of the proudest things we can do is to honor our family members and friends who have served our country in USA military service. We have extended invitations to all our families with veterans or active service members to join us for our 7:45 AM flag assembly so that we may honor them. It’s wonderful for our children see real American heroes. We encourage our vets and active military to wear items denoting their branch of service. All are invited to attend a reception in their honor following the assembly, hosted by our PTA, and to visit the classroom of their child, grandchild, etc.
PTA PAJAMA NIGHT, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15
We are so excited for our annual Pajama Night where the staff will read their favorite books to the students. The PTA will have their association meeting at 6:00pm and the Pajama Night will start at 6:30pm. |
