Yearbook pictures:
Do you have pictures you want to submit for the yearbook? The yearbook committee is collecting pictures you have taken throughout the year. Either put them on a disk and leave them in the office or email them directly to janetvinograd@cox.net. Please include your name and classroom with the pictures. Photos will be accepted through March 14th.

Advertising Opportunities at DJAES:
The deadline to put your company logo on our Jog-a-thon t-shirts and in the yearbook is fast approaching, March 28. We want your company's logo on our shirts and in the yearbooks! You also get to hang your company banner on the fence for the week of the event! Take advantage of this great advertising opportunity. For more information and a flyer explaining the opportunities in more detail, email Gretchen at gretchen.scott@cox.net.

What Is The CUSD Foundation?
You’ll be hearing much about this organization soon. The Capistrano Unified School District Foundation is a fund raising organization dedicated to the service of our students, teachers and schools.  It is not a part of the school district, but is an entirely different organization with its own leadership.

Please be kind to our neighbors!
Can you imagine not having a student that attends our school and every morning and after noon try to leave your home in the middle of school traffic?  There are many parents who drop students off and pick students up in driveways of our local housing complexes.  This is a very unsafe practice not to mention the inconvenience to the poor residents! We have spent many hours developing a drop off pick up traffic plan that works!  Please do what works and drive through the school for drop off and pick up.  Also, please do not ask students to wait off campus at the end of the day!  This is extremely dangerous!  Unsupervised children are a recipe for disaster!  Please do not ask your child to do something that their school is telling them they cannot do, it puts your child in a very uncomfortable position. Lets all do what is best for the safety of our children and our community!
