Sept 2 - Opening Day of School
Sept 4 - 8th grade - Textbook distribution will be during students math period. During this period each student will receive all of their textbooks. Math teachers please remind your students to bring their ID. They will still be allowed to check out textbooks without a student ID.
Sept 8 - 7th grade- Textbook distribution will be during students math period. During this period each student will receive all of their textbooks. Math teachers please remind your students to bring their ID. They will still be allowed to check out textbooks without a student ID.
Sept 9 - 6th grade - Textbook distribution will be during students math period. During this period each student will receive all of their textbooks. Math teachers please remind your students to bring their ID. They will still be allowed to check out textbooks without a student ID.
Sept 5 - EBS Day - This will follow the same format as in the past where students attend all 6 classes and we have a combined 6-8 lunch. Contact Jen Smalley for more details.
Sept 15-18 - Back To School Night - Exact Date/Time TBA

October

Oct 30 - Fall Book Club - Join us on Thursday, October 30th, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. The books are Swear to Howdy, by Van Draanen, and Things Not Seen, by Clements.
Oct 31- No School for Students - Professional Growth Day for Teachers

The Panther Commemorative Tiles Fundraiser

Come see and be a part of an outside office wall that observes past and present students for their contribution and success in making Newhart a better place to learn. If you are interested in purchasing a tile to post on our office wall, please contact the office. All proceeds will benefit Newhart Middle School and you can leave a permanent tile mark with your family names and the years each member attended Newhart. Be a part of the history and the future of Newhart!
