Our
Mission Is Learning “We
will ensure that all our children
will learn more today than
yesterday, and more tomorrow
than today.”

Opened
in September 2002, Laguna Niguel
Elementary School is the
newest K-5 elementary school
to serve the growing community
of Laguna Niguel. This beautiful
facility is located in close
proximity to the Senior Center
of Laguna Niguel, the Laguna
Niguel Regional Park, and Laguna
Niguel City Hall. It is a state-of-the-art
school, featuring a large
multipurpose room with multimedia
capabilities, classrooms with
skylights and Internet access,
a modern library, and a covered
lunch patio.
The
staff creates an atmosphere
of warmth, caring, and respect
where children come to learn,
grow, and achieve. Laguna Niguel
Elementary provides a quality
educational program for all
students in a challenging,
safe, nurturing environment.
This enables students to
develop socially, physically,
emotionally, and intellectually.
We are committed to preparing
students to become lifelong
learners and productive citizens.
The
Laguna Niguel Elementary staff
has prepared an outstanding
instructional program,
which balances basic skills
with critical thinking and
enrichment to ensure an exciting
and successful academic program
for all students.
We
believe that technology is
a critical teaching and learning
tool in the 21stcentury. Our
classrooms and computer lab
feature the latest hardware
and software. In addition to
word processing, keyboarding
and graphic design, students
will learn to create digital
art. LNES has an award winning
student-produced television
broadcast. Students use oral
and written language, as well
as research and technology
skills, to write the school
news on a regular basis.
The
staff is extremely proud
of our school’s API (Academic
Performance Index) for the
2002-2003 school year. LNES
has scored 882 in its first
year. We have built a school
where students, parents, staff,
administrators, and
community members actively work
in harmony for the benefit of
all students.
