California School Recognition Program

Honors some of the state's most exemplary and inspiring public schools. Schools selected for Distinguished School Awards are strong, well-rounded community schools.

Awarded in 2000 and 2004!

 

2003                 Western Growers Garden Grant received to construct a kindergarten garden

2003                 Golden Bell Award received for the MIND Program from the California School Boards Association

2001-present  All second and third grade students participated in the MIND Program

1999                 Became a part of the research study for the Music Intelligence Neural Development (MIND) Program with one hundred second grade students

2000                 An additional one hundred second grade students were added as the original student participants continued as third graders

1998-2003       Received an Early Intervention for School Success (EISS) Basic Implementation Grant and subsequent renewal grants
