The mission of the Technology and Information Services (TIS) Department is to ensure that the District receives the maximum return on its investment in technology and information resources, utilizes available technology to the greatest practical, cost-effective extent, and uses those resources effectively to further the overall goal of providing a high-quality education to its students.

To achieve this, TIS seeks to empower the technology end-users; students, teachers, administrators, and support staff, by providing appropriate technology tools, training in the use of those tools, and subsequent assistance when problems arise. TIS also provides leadership in the technology arena, including the development of suitable District policies and procedures.
