The Capistrano Unified School District operates more than 200 school buses each day to carry more than 10,000 students safely to and from school. The Bus Pass Office hours are 8:00 to 4:30. Our drivers log more than 2.6 million miles annually, operating in a safe, efficient manner from our facilities in Aliso Viejo and Capistrano Beach. Transportation is not provided for elementary school students who live within one mile of their school, for middle school students who live within 1.5 miles of school, and high school students who live within 2.5 miles from their campus.
Parents who choose to have their child travel to and from school on a school bus must purchase a bus pass by mail, fax or email from the Bus Pass Office. No passes are processed at the window of the Bus Pass Office.
