What is ISP? The Instructional Support Period is a 29 minute period after lunch to support and enhance student learning. ISP offers many choices for students. Some choices include helping students with subjects they struggle in, providing extra electives, organizational and study skills, and leadership roles. It is the vision of VDMS that ISP serves as a support period so that students will not fall behind as they journey through middle school. Classrooms K-5 are also included and positively affected by ISP with the aide of cross-age tutors daily.
