Bargaining members who suffer from a catastrophic injury/illness which results in the exhaustion of all available, paid leaves, including regular sick leave and/or industrial accident leave (if applicable) may be eligible to use this catastrophic sick leave plan.

The use of this Sick Leave Bank is available to those employees who have made a donation of at least five days to the bank prior to each request.  Employees may donate accumulated sick leave days to the Sick Leave Bank at a minimum of eight hours and in one hour increments thereafter.
