The Department’s mission is to support the students’ educational needs and rights and is committed to making their fulfillment possible.
The students are entitled to the highest degree of safety in transportation; to consistent, reliable and efficient transportation services; and to the utmost professionalism from Transportation staff.
The Department’s role goes beyond supporting the educational system; it is an integral part of this system. Drivers and other Staff are educators.
Its support for education requires that its operations be conducted efficiently and cost-effectively.
In all aspects of its operations, the Department is ruled by the principle that the children, not the employees, come first.
