English Learner (ELS)
As the largest school district in Orange County, Capistrano Unified School District recognizes the richness that many cultures and languages bring to our schools and our communities. Our commitment to engaging students in meaningful, challenging, and innovative educational experiences is reflected in our work to promote biliteracy and bilingualism. We believe this important work does not only mean supporting the language development of our English Language Learners (EL) but also paving their way to fully and meaningfully access and participate in high levels of learning in all content areas.
