School Transfers Outside of School of Choice Window
Students who qualify for middle school accelerated math courses may request a transfer outside of the School of Choice window. Please open this LINK for further information.
Summer Math Testing for 7th & 8th Students NEW to CUSD
7th/8th grade students who are NEW to CUSD and want to enroll in an accelerated math class will need to take a placement test,

Other testing dates will be posted here in July for late July/August testing dates.
New incoming 6th-grade students will be placed into Math 6 and possibly moved to Pre-Algebra Accelerated if they qualify based on their fall math diagnostic. Please see the metrics link on this site for placement guidelines.
NEW to CUSD incoming high school students will not be required to pass a math placement test. Please follow up with your high school counselor for placement options based on transcripts.
