CLASS Program
The Capistrano Unified School District's CLASS (Continued Learning, Adult Special Services) program is designed to meet the special education needs of post-secondary students between the ages of 18-22 who completed high school without a diploma. The program is part time, highly individualized and based on the individual needs of each student. Academic, vocational, social skills support is available to students. The communication needs of CLASS students are supported by a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with the availability of group communication lessons for an additional one hour per week, to functionally address community and employment-related social-communication skills. Additional CLASS support can be provided on an as needed basis.
