High School Academies:

Capistrano Unified has enhanced the challenging standards-based curriculum with specialized academies at its high schools. The academy concept offers students a firm foundation in specific areas of study while providing them with valuable hands-on learning opportunities. These specialized studies help to prepare students for future endeavors, whether college, a career, or both. The academies are successful and popular due both to the instructional staff and to the numerous business partners in south Orange County who lend their expertise, time, money and resources to help the programs grow.
